Tia's story began on a warm afternoon in Los Angeles. At the time, Grime was looking for the perfect companion dog. Living in the city, he wanted a dog that was both lively and easygoing, able to adapt to the fast-paced urban life. One day, he happened to visit a local animal shelter, a place full of dogs waiting to be adopted.

When he walked by Tia’s cage, she immediately ran to the edge of the cage, stood up, and looked at Grime with her big eyes. Her coat was the characteristic curly texture of a Teddy dog, looking both playful and gentle. Though she had likely been through some difficult experiences in the past, her eyes were full of trust, almost calling out to Grime: "I could be your best friend."

The moment Grime saw Tia’s eyes, he knew she was the one. After a few days, he took Tia home.

At first, Tia was a little nervous and unsure in her new home. She had never had a stable place to call home, and the memories of her time on the streets lingered. She was cautious, afraid someone would suddenly leave her again. But Grime gave her all the patience and love she needed, walking her around the house every day to help her get used to her new environment and ensuring she felt safe.

Months passed, and Tia grew more confident. She started walking freely around the house and showed her lively side. When Grime took her to the park, she would jump around, chasing falling leaves or playing with other dogs. She had fully embraced her new family.

Although Grime’s job kept him busy, Tia was always the first one to greet him when he came home. With her warm eyes and wagging tail, she would convey endless love to Grime. Tia was no longer the lonely stray dog; she was now an inseparable part of Grime’s life.

Now, at 6 years old, Tia is not just Grime’s companion; she is his little sunshine. Whether they’re walking in the park or just sitting quietly on the couch, Tia is always by his side.
